...a community of believers who come together to follow the teachings of the Bible and spread the message of God's love. Along the way, we teach and share. We sing and laugh. We roll up our sleeves and get involved. And sometimes, we're quietly still in the presence of God."
People consider many things when visiting churches.
And those seeking
opportunities to serve. What you may be seeking
could be dramatically different from the next person - or it could
be exactly the same. Whatever you're looking for... you mean something to God. As God's church, you mean something to us. You are always welcome here. |
You are Welcome to Worship with Us.
Falling Waters offers a ten o’clock service of worship for the Lord’s Day. Our worship service is a wonderful blend of practices both old and new, beginning with contemporary praise music. The senior choir sings both traditional favorites and contemporary songs of praise. Children have a children’s time led by an elder before going to Children’s Church, where they learn worship skills in praise, prayer and sacred story. In our services lay worship leaders and music leaders take an active role. We also have special services throughout the year such as Palm Sunday, Easter Sunrise, Easter, Pentecost, Heritage Sunday, Thanksgiving, Advent, and Christmas Eve Candlelight Service. All worship services are built around the proclamation of God’s living Word in Scripture. A nursery is available during all worship and educational activities.
What are the Great Ends of the Church? “The great ends of the church which are the proclamation of the gospel for the salvation of humankind; the shelter, nurture and spiritual fellowship of the children of God; the maintenance of divine worship; the preservation of the truth; and the promotion of social righteousness; and the exhibition of the Kingdom of Heaven to the world.”
In offering ourselves to this sacred mission, we will show the way of Christ so that the community and the world in which we live may learn “to do justice, love mercy, and to walk humbly with God.” - - Micah 6:8

The
work of the Mission Committee is to create a mission mindset for our
church in everything we do. Serve and tell the story of Jesus Christ to those outside the walls of the church. Matthew 28:19

A worship service is a celebration. It is a time when we come into God’s presence and praise Him. Each service is filled with music and teaching, joy and insight. We provide many opportunities for people of all ages to experience and celebrate God and a life of faith.
So we can sing it, and tell it, and live it. ...Amen |
